About Kaitlin

Kaitlin Romano is a Registered Dietitian who has completed her Bachlors of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food from Toronto Metropolitan University and her Masters of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Toronto. Through her placements, she has gained experience in various settings including food service, private practice focused on sports performance, research, and in a diabetes education community health centre. Through her expereince, she has worked with competitive athletes including gymnasts, cyclists and hockey players, as well as weekend warriors, to fuel for their perofrmance and health goals.

As a former gymnast, she personally struggled with navigating conflicting nutrition advice online, managing body image concerns, and understanding how, what, and when to eat for optimal athletic performance. Now, as a Registered Dietitian and gymnastics coach, she understands the crucial role nutrition plays in performance and the challenges athletes face in fueling properly. She’s here to help you avoid the same mistakes she made and guide you toward evidence based, effective nutrition choices and strategies to fuel both your training and life!

Kaitlin’s mission is to provide athletes with practical, science-backed nutrition strategies that are simple, realistic, and tailored to your individual needs. She is focused on helping you achieve peak performance without the need for restrictive diets. Whether your goal is to improve performance, increase strength, or recover efficiently, Kaitlin offers a health- and food-first approach to nutrition. She believes the best nutrition strategies are sustainable and easy to incorporate into daily life, allowing you to feel energized and perform at your best without feeling restricted or overwhelmed. Her goal is to make nutrition approachable and effective, ensuring that you can perform at your highest level while maintaining a positive relationship with food.
